The Emery L Williams Kappa Foundation was incorporated in April 2014 and received its 501(c)(3) status in September 2014. The organization's primary objective is to provide scholarship to students in the Spartanburg, South Carolina area high schools pursuing higher learning at four-year or two-year institutions as well as students currently enrolled in four-year institutions of learning in the Spartanburg County area.

The Foundation strives to foster exceptional achievement amongst young men in the Spartanburg County community through diligent role modeling, mentoring, structured involvement and open access to economic scholarship and resources. To this end, the Foundation hosts two primary programs - Kappa League and the Beautillion - our focused college preparatory, scholarship assistance and life skills programs.
